| My name is Chad Jordan and I'm a programmer and a media developer. I'm confident in multiple areas of computing and media. This whole site is essentially a portfolio of my work from multiple areas in my field. In developing this website, my drive is to inspire others and intrigue those that are curious about Computer Science and the media field. In the development process of this website, I knew I wanted to present a nice aesthetic, functional website from the ground up. Even though there has been and continues to be a considerable amount of work and time that goes into the development of a site like this, it is my projects that I put on here, that are the real time consumptions of my life. The name is also very significant to the projects that I do. I wanted to come up with a name that would symbolize building and designing projects from nothing into something, from the virtual world, to the real world. The front end portion of this site such as the visual aesthetics I wrote with XHTML, CSS and the animation effects I used JQuery. The backend portion of the scripting to handle more functionality I used PHP to handle the content, background, header and the footer. This is a far more logical and simplistic approach for me to control my site by wrapping PHP around it. This ensures that I can add more pages and content without wasting as much time re-copying and pasting existing code and having to update every single page individually.
